I decided to spend this time in New York photographing the Memorial Vases. I went everywhere from Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty to John Lennon's memorial in Central Park to Rockaway Beach. While I was there, a peaceful protest against the war in Iraq was staged along 14th St.
